Faye Lim aka Faye Boogie grew up in San Jose, CA and started dancing in high school with a group friends, a fresh collective that called themselves Boogie Unit.  This was a beginning to something wonderful for her that has lasted for about a decade now.  Her love of dance was birthed in San Jose but developed and matured when she decided to move down to San Diego in the year 2000 and found her niche in bgirling. She auditioned for Culture Shock San Diego and became a part of this inspiring dance team for 2 years. 

Thru CSSD she me two of her future crewmate members; Chris and Jemar, thru them she met the rest of the Full Force Crew and was asked to get down after Bboy Summit 2001.  They’ve grown into a family that she admires and is very proud to be associated with. 

Faye is also part of bgirl/dance crew called World Famous that her friend Belle started. Established in 2003 they wanted to start a crew that represented not only them as females in a male dominated culture but also as individuals moving forward…

After moving back and forth from the bay to So.Cal she is currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. Graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising she enjoys graphic design and making and selling her own Jewelry.
